Switch the pager on and off

Your pager has an internal antenna. The antenna is
located On the left side of the pager.
Note:
As with any other radio transmitting device, do not touch the
antenna area unnecessarily when the pager is switched on. Contact
with the antenna affects service quality and may cause the pager to
operate at a higher power level than otherwise needed. Avoiding
contact with the antenna while operating the pager optimises the
antenna performance and the battery life.
