Filtration cartridge
The filtration cartridge
prevents scale
deposits. It screws itself inside the tank
cover and stays immersed in water.
It should be replaced once or twice a
year depending on usage and water
hardness.

Check the power cord.
Check that the tank is correctly positioned.

Check that the tank is filled.
Check that the power knob is not set at
minimum power.
The mist produced has an
unpleasant smell.
On a new device, open the water tank and
leave it aerated for 12 hours. On a used device,
the smell is due to stagnant or dirty water.
Clean the tank and the housing thoroughly and
replace the water.
The on/off light is on but
the device does not work.
Too much water on the ultrasonic plate :
remove some water.
It may also happen when moving a device full
of water.
Mist is produced in
insufficient quantity.
Dirty ultrasonic plate: clean the ultrasonic plate.
Dirty or stagnant water: clean the tank and
change the water.
Abnormal noise.
If the device has insufficient water or is not on a
stable surface, a resonance can be heard.
Water leakage.
Check that the tank is tightly screwed and
the seal (inside the tank cover) is correctly
placed. The seal could have fallen when filling
the device. If necessary, clean the cover with
water and soap.
