Remove the Water Tank from the Base
For first use:
Remove the foam sleeve from the
Water Sensor Float
Slowly fill the Tank with clean, cool water.
Do not fill past the MAX fill line and do not
allow water to enter the Mist Outlet.
Replace the Tank ensuring groove
aligns with Base
If desired, a few drops of your favorite
essential oil may be added to the Water Tank.

Filling The Water Tank
About White Dust
Use of high mineral content water may
cause a white mineral residue to
accumulate on surfaces in the room near
the humidifier. The mineral residue is
commonly called “white dust” and is
caused by minerals suspended in the
water. The higher the mineral content
(or, the harder your water is), the greater
the potential for white dust. The dust is
not caused by a defect in the humidifier.
To reduce white dust we recommend using
filtered or distilled water.
WARNING: If you have hard tap water, we recommend using ONLY filtered or distilled water.
