1.5.5 Housing and Human Machine Interface
ATD has an all-metal housing with anti-reflective blackout finish on all parts visible to the
flight crew.
ATD is controlled by two concentric rotary knobs (not illuminated) and four softkey
pushbuttons (illuminated).
Information is displayed on a backlit TFT color display. The display is sunlight readable and
features a dimmable backlight.
