8.2.5 How to set the Output Cycle
During the measuring cycle, the measurement data will be stored
with a timestamp in the wireless sensor. The data will be sent to the
data logger according to the output cycle. A maximum of 128
measured values can be stored in the wireless sensor, so that in the
output cycle these values will be sent together to the data logger. The
number of measurement cycles, in which the measured values can
be temporarily stored can be calculated by dividing the 128
measured values through the number of active measuring channels
The fastest measuring cycle that can be set is 10 seconds.
The output cycle can take a maximum of ten times the value of the
set measuring cycle. In case the set output cycle is shorter than the
set measuring cycle, the measuring data will be sent to the data
logger according to the measuring cycle.
Especially for measurements with fast measuring cycles make sure
that the operating mode
Measure
is set (see chapter 8.1.6 How to
set the Operating Mode).
!
No measurement may be started.
1. In the home screen, tap on Sensor overview
.
2. Tap on the arrow at the end of the line of the wireless sensor, whose
output cycle you want to change.
3. Tap on the field next to
Output cycle.
4. Enter the desired output cycle.
➢
The measurement data will be sent to the data logger according to the
output cycle of the wireless sensor.
8.2.6 How to enable / disable sleep mode
During long output cycles, every time when no measurement data is
being transmitted to the data logger, the energy saving mode will
take effect for the wireless sensor in sleep mode.
During that time, the wireless sensor consumes very little current so
that the battery life will be extended.
