8.1.11 How to set a static or a dynamic IP address

There shall be no connection via Ethernet between the data logger
and another device.
Set the static IP address
1. In the home screen, tap on Settings
.
2. Tap on
Device settings.
3. Tap on
Communication.
4. Tap on the field next to
Dynamic IP address (DHCP).
5. Tap on
OFF.

The data logger receives the static IP address that is displayed next to
the field IP address.
6. Tap on the field next to
IP address.
7. Enter the desired IP address.
8. Tap on the field next to
Subnet mask.
9. Enter the desired
Subnet mask
.

The data logger receives the desired static IP address together with
the desired subnet mask.
➢
The current IP address will be displayed in the field next to
IP
address
. The MAC address will be displayed in the field next to
MAC
address
.
Set the dynamic IP address
1. In the home screen, tap on Settings
.
2. Tap on
Device settings.
3. Tap on
Communication.
4. Tap on the field next to
Dynamic IP address (DHCP).
5. Tap on
ON.
