The radio channel will not be changed until you select another radio
channel or you tap on
AUTO
again. The capacity utilization of the
radio channel by other radio applications may change meanwhile.
8.1.3 How to check the Radio Channel Utilization
When the utilization of the radio channels is checked, the current
utilization will be displayed in percent (%) and decibels milliwatt (dBm).
The checking procedure is supposed to help finding a suitable radio
channel. However, due to various impacts, the utilization of the radio
channels can change significantly.
1. In the home screen, tap on Settings
.
2. Tap on
Wireless network.
3. Tap on
Radio channel utilization.

The selected radio channel will be displayed in the line
Select radio

Next to
Check radio channel utilization
tap on
START.

The progress of the checking procedure will be indicated in percent in
the line

The measured utilization will be recorded in the table.

By using the arrows
scroll until you see the line featuring the
desired radio channel.
A high percent value indicates a high level of utilization for that radio
channel and implies that
– if possible – another radio channel should be
selected.
In case no wireless sensor is connected to the data logger, you can set a
radio channel by tapping on the field next to
Select radio channel
(see
chapter 8.1.2 How to set a Radio Channel).
