Appendix A. Warnings and error
Short-circuit! Check sensor
This message appears when a short circuit in a sensor is detected. This mainly occurs when the wiring that
connects it to the nodes is damaged and the wire’s copper strands touch each other. The sensor with problems
will be indicated with the icon in the Pipes tab or in the Chart tab. Identify the sensor, control its wiring or try
unplugged it to check if the problem persists
Disconnected sensors! Check
This warning appears when a sensor is not connected to a wire that was configured to be connected sensor.
The disconnected sensor will be indicated with the
icon in the Pipes tab or in the Chart tab. Identify the
sensor, check the wiring is not damaged, cut or disconnected.
Short-circuit in CAN bus. Check and reboot…
High consumption in CAN bus…
CAN bus consumption exceeded limits. Check and reboot…
This error is produced due to a short circuit or consumption excess in main CAN branch. When this error is
detected the computer cuts the energy to all nodes. Once it is solved, turn the computer off and then on to make
it works again.
It is suggested checking that the wiring which connects the console to each node is not damaged. In case the
wiring doesn’t present any damage, disconnect all nodes and then connect them one by one till the error
appears again. In this way, the node with problems will be indentified.
No connection with node Fert L / Fert A / Seed / Monitor…
This message also indicates the node or nodes that have no connection with the computer. Generally, this
problem is because of a connection problem between the node and the computer (in 4-ways connectors or in
CAN wiring). Check specially the status of the spearhead’s 4-ways connector and the wiring in that section if all
installed nodes stopped communicating.
Mapping data storage is not possible. Check SD and reboot, or disable mapping.
Check that SD memory card where mapping data are being saved is perfectly inserted in the computer. The
computer has to be turned off before removing or inserting the SD card. Make sure that the card has available
capacity and that it was correctly formatted as FAT type (nor FAT32 or other format). If you don’t want to make
mapping onto the SD card, disable this function
The computer was previously turned off incorrectly!
Always remember to turn the computer off pressing the ON/OFF key.
Access to SD card is not possible
Check that the SD card is already installed while turning the computer on. The SD card has to be correctly
formatted as FAT type (nor FAT32 or other format).
Drives initialization is not possible
This warning appears when the access to monitor’s storage drive is not possible. The pen drive and SD card
must have a FAT type format (nor FAT32 or other format).
