The “Rate” tab presents graphic and numerical information of the rate prescription loaded on the computer.
Pressing the Rate key several times, different maps will appear for different products (Fert. L, Fert. A, and
Seeds).
Figure 24
presents the rate prescription map of Fertilizer L, which is indicated in the title of color scale on the
right of the map. Each color represents the range of the product amount to be applied on each zone painted in
the same color. The exact value of the prescribed rate for the zone where the implement is, and the rates that
are being applied are detailed in the numerical information area (on the right of the screen), described in
“2.2. ” section on Page 8.
This screen also presents the loaded prescription’s name, map’s orientation (always the north on the top), the
current implement’s position on the plot, its geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) and its route
followed during the job.
In the case of the implement is out of the loaded prescription map’s perimeter, the message “Out of plot” will
appear on the screen
Once the manual variable rate mode is selected and a prescription is loaded, this one will
be stored on the computer. If Automatic Variable Rate option is selected again, the
computer will indicate that a prescription has been already loaded; allowing the user to
either continue working with the saved prescription or select a new prescription from the SD
memory card
