11.1 Flushing the sprayer with residual quantity in the main
tank -
A)
If a malfunction occurs during spraying or if work has to be interrupted due to weather conditions
and the unit has to stand overnight with a full tank, the lines, filters and fittings can be flushed
with clean water without diluting the liquid.
Procedure:
- Switch the pressure control switch on the control panel to "manual".
- Set the pressure regulator on the air pressure gauge to maximum.
- Set the 5-way stopcock to "spray
- Open the clean water inlet from the clean water tank with the suction tap.
- If the syringe has a 2nd stirrer, it must be closed.
- Drive over an untreated surface with the boom unfolded.
- Switch on the boom sections
- Switch on the main spray switch on the terminal while driving.
- Only then switch on the drive and thus the pump at half speed.
Thus, clean water is sprayed through the nozzles.
Since the residual amount of crop protection agent in the boom must be diluted at least 10-fold, the
clean water tank must be full when flushing.
B)
B) Continuous tank interior cleaning option
The clean water tank must be full before the internal tank cleaning pump can be activated and the
tank must be completely emptied during flushing.
The centrifugal pump of the internal tank cleaning system must not run dry, therefore switch off the
pump directly after emptying the tank.
Flushing takes place during travel with the boom folded out.
