Starting Machine:

a. Stop tractor engine,

set park brake,

remove ignition

key and wait for

all moving parts to

stop before dis-

mounting.

b. Push the control le-

ver in to disengage

drive system.

c. Close the choke if

the engine is cold.

d. Move the throttle to

its 1/2 throttle posi-

tion.

e. Pull sharply on the

starting rope to

start the engine.

f. Run the engine for

a few minutes to

allow it to warm.

g. Gradually open the

choke.

h. Engage drive

system with control

lever when engine

is at mid speed

range.

i. Increase throttle

setting to maximum

speed for opera-

tion.
