Brush mower

Never start or allow the engine to run in
closed rooms or rooms that are not ventilat-
ed.
It is essential to ensure for sufficient ventila-
tion and a quick extraction of the exhaust
fumes. The exhaust fumes contain car-
bon monoxide that is highly toxic when in-
haled.
Do not step near the work tools.
Are the protective devices in place?
Starting the petrol engine
1. Plug on the sparking-plug connector
1. Open the fuel cock (B/11)
2.
Cold
engine: Set the speed regulating lever
(A/3, B/3) to "Choke"
Hot
engine: Speed control lever to 2/3 throt-
tle position
3. Both clutch levers to "0" position
Honda
B&S
4. Start the engine from outside the hazard
zone:
Honda engine:
Hold the starter rope at the
starter handle (B/2) and pull it out
vigorously
and
rapidly
to start the engine. Guide the
handle back after the engine has started. Do
not allow it to shoot back.
Briggs&Stratton engine:
Start the engine
electrically by pressing the start button (A/15)
on the right-hand steering bar.
