Agilent SPS 4 Autosampler User’s Guide

Installation

Fitting the Sample Probe

Figure 13

Installing the sample probe

To fit the sample probe:

Turn the autosampler off.

Manually rotate the probe arm so it faces the front of the autosampler
for easy access.

Undo the mount nut from the probe mount block on the sample probe
and slide the nut off the sample probe.

Place the mount nut from the sample probe on top of the accessories
plate with the recessed edge facing up and the holes approximately
aligned.

Move the Z- axis slide down stopping just above mount nut sitting on
the accessories plate.

WA R N I N G

Always switch off the power to the autosampler before installing or removing the
sample probe.
