Autosampler
Lubricate Autosampler Syringe (not applicable to serial controlled
A/S systems)

Pull out the A/S carousel drawer to its maximum position to gain access to
the syringe assembly beneath it.

Reach in over the top of the extended carousel and with both hands lift the
syringe from its mounting. Disconnect it from the Luer lock needle
assembly.

If the syringe is contaminated with solvent, wash it out with acetone and
dry.

Place a couple of drops of silicone oil into the barrel of the syringe and
replace the plunger.

Work the plunger up and down the barrel a few times to thoroughly
disperse the oil.

Reconnect the syringe to the tubing and relocate in the mounting.
7
Return the A/S drawer to its normal operating position.
