Agilent InfinityLab ELSD User Manual

Optimizing Performance

Mobile Phase Priming

The ELS detector does not require any mobile phase priming. It is recommended
that priming of the LC system is performed without the ELS detector attached to
prevent nonvolatile impurities contaminating the ELS detector.

The mobile phase should be degassed and filtered, either by sparging with
Helium or using an online degasser.
