64 1’s & 64 0’s
Use this softkey to select a binary data pattern that consists of 64 ones
followed by 64 zeroes. This selection is available either as a data
pattern (not framed) or for use with framed data transmissions.
Selecting a 64 1’s & 64 0’s Data Pattern
When you select
64 1’s & 64 0’s
, both the
Data
and the
Other Patterns
softkeys show this selection. In addition,
P64
(where “P” refers to
Pattern and “64” refers to 64 ones and 64 zeroes) is displayed in the
Data
field in the top line of the text area of the display.

Selecting 64 1’s & 64 0’s in a Framed Data Transmission
When you select
64 1’s & 64 0’s
in a framed data transmission, both the
B field
and the
Other Patterns
softkeys show this selection. Also, the
B
field (located near the bottom of the text area of the display) indicates
P64
. A single output of a framed P64 data pattern consists of enough
repetitions of 64 ones followed by 64 zeroes to fill the data field in the
timeslot.
