This softkey appears in two different situations, enabling you to either
select a modulation, or load a default I/Q map into the I/Q table editor.

Selecting a 16QAM Modulation

Press this softkey to select 16QAM (16-state quadrature amplitude
modulation) to modulate a continuous stream of the selected data
pattern. 16QAM modulation transmits data at the rate of 4 bits per
symbol. The selected modulation appears in the

Mod Type

field in the

text area of the display, and under the

Select

softkeys in the

Modulation Type menu.
