When doing this Modification the following steps are required.
1.
Follow proper procedures to eliminate ESD damage to the instrument and components.
2.
The AC line MUST be turned OFF at the source and disconnected from the instrument.
3. The correct hand tools should be used for disassembly and assembly procedures.
