Troubleshooting the Test Kit Manufacturers TestKitSuite.xml File
A warning sign has
appeared in the
result table next to
an expected
fragment and a
corresponding
warning sign has
appeared next to a
fragment in the
image.
An unidentified band
has also been
reported in the table,
but not in the gel. The warning signs in the result table indicate that
the internal control (marked as important in the
TestKitSuite file) is missing and that an
unexpected, and therefore unidentified, band has
been detected.
The gel image actually contains 2 warning signs
but they are very close together and therefore
cannot be distinguished.
Therefore, in this example, the internal control
has not been identified within the expected
diagnostic window set in the
TestKitSuite.xml
file but may have been identified out with any
predetermined window, creating an unidentified
fragment.
Run the sample
again. If the issue
re-occurs, contact
the Test Kit
Manufacturer.
A warning sign has

In the gel image, warning sign indicates that the
internal control diagnostic window is empty.
However, the internal control has not been
marked as unidentified. Therefore, it may have
been sized within an
ignore region marked in the
TestKitSuite and has not been reported
Run the sample
again. If the issue
re-occurs, contact
the Test Kit
Manufacturer.
