Chapter 6: Replacing Assemblies

To return assemblies

Before shipping the module to Agilent Technologies, contact your nearest Agilent
Technologies Sales Office for additional details. Information on contacting Agilent
can be found at http://www.agilent.com.

Write the following information on a tag and attach it to the module.

•

Name and address of owner

•

Model number

•

Serial number

•

Description of service required or failure indications

Remove accessories from the module.

Only return accessories to Agilent Technologies if they are associated with the
failure symptoms.

Package the module.

You can use either the original shipping containers, or order materials from an
Agilent Technologies sales office.

CAUTION:

For protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD), package the module in ESD-safe
material.

Seal the shipping container securely, and mark it FRAGILE.
