2.5.3 

Resetting the Compliance Film Calibration, Internal Densitometer Calibration and 
Thermal Print Head Calibration 

 

 

NOTE: 

Resetting the Compliance Film Calibration, Internal Densitometer Calibration and 
Thermal Print Head Calibration is required to be sure, that possibly wrong calibrations 
from previous service interventions are deleted.  

 

(1)  In the service command session select “1 Show settings – 2 Input Tray”. 

(2)  Check, which tray is using “DT2M” film material. 

(3)  In the service command session select “6 Calibration – 6 Compliance film 

calibration – 1 Reset compliance film calibration for upper tray or 2 Reset 
compliance film calibration for lower tray”. (depends on which film tray is using 
DT2M film material). 
If both trays contain DT2M film material, select both trays, one after another. 

(4)  Leave the “service command session” 

(5)  In the service tools page select “Reset calibration data” 

(6)  Select “Default CDM” and “Default Profile”. Note, that “Default Profile” button is not 

available, if no “Print Head Profile” has been performed in the field yet. 

(7)  Leave the Reset calibration data” screen. 

 

 

NOTE: 

After this action the printer will show warnings 

•

  HC302016 Lower tray needs film calibration - or  

•

  HC301016 Upper tray needs film calibration - and 

•

  HC306014 Printer needs CDM calibration 

This problem will be solved in the next section.
