Flat-fold Markers
Operation Position
Open both marker lockout valves before planter
operation.
Allow at least 6 m (20 ft.) of clear area to lower markers.

WARNING: Clear bystanders from area
before operating markers.
NOTE: Marker and hydraulic circuit operation is identical
to standard marker operation on previous page.
Marker Cylinder Stops
To reduce marker cycle time, install marker cylinder stops
on the extended cylinder rods to prevent the entire marker
from raising.
When not in use, store the stops on the lower marker
sections.

Shear Bolt
6-Row Wide and 8-Row: 3/8 x 2 1/4 inch, 23 Nm (17 ft. lb)
The markers are protected with a Grade 5 shear bolt and
nut. Tightened to the torque values listed:
IMPORTANT: Replace only with the correct size and
grade.
NOTE: Use a bolt with a shoulder, not a fully-threaded
bolt.
