5.4.2 Connecting the lithium battery
• If you insert a new lithium battery, the tank data already stored are not
cleared.
NOTICE
DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT
• Verify correct polarity when plugging the battery connector into the socket on
the PCB.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.
1. Turn the upper part of the control
unit clockwise all the way to the
stop.
2. Carefully remove the upper part of
the housing from the bottom part
of the housing.
- There are wires between the
upper part of the housing and
the bottom part of the housing.
3. Press the reset pushbutton (A)
and hold it down.
4. Plug the two-pole battery connec-
tor into the two-pole socket (B) on
the PCB.
- Verify correct polarity.
5. Release the reset pushbutton (A).
