Featuring two modes of operation, continuous wave
(CW) and 2Hz modulation, the VFI2 visible red laser
source is designed to troubleshoot faults on fiber
optic cables.

Inspecting Cables
Note:
Clean connectors on cables before connecting
them to VFI2.
Attach the inspected cable to the 2.5 mm Universal

adapter
Turn the VFI2 on and observe the inspected cable
•
for faults
