2. OPERATION
2.1 Performing a Self-Test
Before using the Model 8505, perform a short series of self-tests to
ensure the instrument is functioning properly.
1.
Locate the Model 8505 SELF TEST LEAD, labeled at the top of the
instrument’s front panel.
2.
Attach the probe to the SELF TEST LEAD by inserting the lead into
the probe. Screw the probe into the cable.
3.
Attach one of the alligator clips to the other (unlabeled) lead.
