The following procedure is necessary to start the R3755x or R3760 from a computer (hereafter referred to

as the host PC):

a. NACServer software installation

• Execute the following programs:

Windows OS (32bit)

Server\x86\NACServer_Setup

_x86

.exe

Windows OS (64bit)

Server\x64\NACServer_Setup_x64.exe

Depending on the environment where Windows OS is pre-installed, NACServer may fail to be in-

stalled correctly because of conflicts with security software.

In this case, disable security software or uninstall it, and then install NACServer.

Installation may take time depending on PC used. Do not perform any operation until the Finish

button of the installer is displayed.

When using a laptop computer connected via PCI BUS, external-I/F driver installation is required.

When uninstalling, uninstall NACServer from the program delete function on the Windows Con-

trol Panel. After it has been uninstalled, restart the PC.

b. Sample application program installation

• For the VB6 sample application, execute the following program:

SampleProgram_VB\vb\Analysis\Setup\VB6Analysis_Setup.exe or VB6Analysis_Setup.msi

After installation of VB6Analysis_Setup.EXE on Windows Vista or Windows 7, installed OCX

and DLL may not be recognized by OS. If this occurs, register them to the OS with administrative

privileges by using the regsvr32 command.

• For the VS2008 sample application, execute either of the following programs:

SampleProgram_VB\vb.net\Analysis\Setup\Eng\setup.exe
SampleProgram_VB\vb.net\Analysis\Setup\Jpn\setup.exe
