4.1

Driver Installation

Before installing software on the panel PC, install the corresponding drivers to ensure
full functionality. 
All drivers can be downloaded from the Advantech website
http://www.advantech.com

4.2

BIOS Setup Program

4.2.1

Update BIOS 

1.

Upon entering the BIOS menu, click Advanced 

→

 Security Configuration 

→

 

TXE HMRFPO 

→

 Enable

2.

Restart the computer

3.

Execute AFUDOS 8211BIOS.bin /P /B /N /X /ME

4.

Power on the system again after it shuts down

5.

The BIOS update is complete

Note!

Before installing Windows 8.x or Android OS, adjust the BIOS settings 
as explained in Section 4.2.5 “OS Selection”. Otherwise, OS installation 
failure will occur. However, if Windows 7 OS is already installed, the 
BIOS settings do not need to be adjusted.
The PPC-3000S series only supports Windows 10/8 installation in UEFI 
mode.
