Chapter 4

IOS Settings



PCI Express Root Port

This item allows users to configure the PCI Express root port.



Hot Plug

This item allows users to enable/disable PCI Express hot plugging.



PCIe Speed

This item allows users to set the PCI Express port speed.



Detect Non-Compliant Device

This item allows users to enable/disable the detect non-compliant PCI Express
device function. If enabled, the system will take longer to complete POST.

Security Configuration

In the BIOS Setup utility, select the Security tab. To access the submenu for any of
the items, select the item and press <Enter>.



Administrator Password

This item allows users to set the administrator password. The ideal password
length is between 3 and 20 characters.



User Password

This item allows users to set user passwords. The ideal password length is
between 3 and 20 characters.
