7 Appendix B: D9068P Reporting
As indicated previously, the D9068P reports in SIA 300 or Contact-ID formats.
SIA 300 Format Reporting (AX Series FACP Zone and Point Reporting)
Data Range of D9068P DACT/ reporting format:
Zone reference is reported in the range of 1-9999 (i.e. AX Series zone number)
Device Address is reported in the range 1-9999 (i.e. AX Series point address)
Events are reported by point however, sub-address information is not reported.
Note: The non-reporting of sub-addresses can lead to some confusing reports and must be explained to the central
station, for example; if all NAC circuits are disabled then four events will be reported (one for each circuit) but each
report will be against the same zone address (i.e. the panel zone number), not the individual address of the NAC
circuit (assigned by the AX Series FACP). Each report will be identical unless each NAC circuit is set to a different
zone.
Contact-ID Reporting (AX Series FACP Node and Zone Reporting)
Data Range of D9068P DACT/ reporting format:
Node reference is reported in the range 1-99 (any reports of nodes greater than 99 will be reported as node
99).
Zone reference is reported in the range 1-999 (zone 1000 will be reported as zone 999).
DO NOT USE
ZONE 1000.
If multiple alarms/events occur from a number of different devices, each alarm/event is reported via the D9068P
DACT – if new alarms/events are from the same node & zone then the reports will look identical.
When the panel is reset following the alarm, or an alternative event returns to normal, the restoral will only be
reported once the zone has returned normal (i.e. a restoral is only issued if it is valid for the whole zone).
The same restriction regarding sub-addressing in SIA reporting applies to Contact-ID (i.e. no sub-address
information will be transmitted to the central station).
