5.4.7 PROG
DEFLTS
The
PROG DEFLTS
feature clears the history
logger, resets the D9068P to its default EEPROM
settings, and applies default reporting codes.
1: CLEAR HISTORY
To access

You can clear some or all of the history
records in the D9068P using this option.
To clear the history logger, reset the D9068P to
default settings, and apply default reporting codes:
1. At the Prog Defaults Submenu, press [1] to
select
1: CLEAR HISTORY
. The window
shows:
2. The number on the first line shows the total
number of records stored in the history logger.
Enter the number of history records you want to
delete and press [# Command]. Those events
are erased and the D9068P returns to the Prog
Defaults Menu.

This option allows you to set the D9068P to the
original factory programming configuration.
To set the D9068P to the original factory
programming configuration:
1. At the Prog Defaults Submenu, press [2] to
select
2: DEFAULT ALL EE
. The window
shows:
2. The entry preceding the colon (:) on the second
line indicates the current setting. To restore the
D9068P to its factory settings, press [1] and [#
Command].
3. Then press [* Clear]. The window shows:
When the operation is complete, the Prog Defaults
Submenu reappears.

5.5 Operating
Modes
The D9068P operating modes are Program, Status,
History, Test, and Reset. Each mode appears as
an option on the D9068P’s Main Menu.
All programming, including the point
configurations and option selections, is lost
when this operation is performed.
Date/Time settings are not affected when
placing the D9068P in the default.
DEFLT 4/2 CDES
default setting is used with
4/2 reporting, 4/2 reporting is not supported by
the D9068P.
SERIAL CONECTN
configuration
programming is used to set the BOSCH D9068
DACT to work serially with BOSCH fire alarm
control panels. The D9068P is an Advanced
DACT designed to work with AX Series
Intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panels. The
D9068P does not support BOSCH FACP
interfacing.
