Purpose

Use the show interfaces ethernet

command to display information on the IEEE 802.3 port.

Syntax Description

The show interfaces ethernet command has no subcommands.

Default Values

The show interfaces ethernet command has no default values.

Command Modes

The Enable Mode Command prompt is required for this command.

Functional Notes

The following is a list of output examples from this command:

• Link Status (up/down)
• MAC address
• Number of:

– packets input/output
– TX/RX errors
– alignment errors
– CRC errors
– RX collisions
– single/multiple/excessive collisions
– deferred packets
– carrier-sense errors

Usage Examples

Show the Ethernet configuration/status/performance related information.
