Customer Provides

For EIA-232 applications, the customer must provide an EIA-232 interface
cable with standard 25-pin male D-type connectors (Cannon or Cinch DB-
19604-432).

For V.35 applications a six-foot adapter cable (part number 1200063L6 for
male to male; part number 1200063L8 for male to female) is available from
ADTRAN. This cable converts the EIA-232 on the rear panel of the unit to
V.35. The pinout for the V.35 conversion is shown in the appendix Pinouts
on page A-1.

Power Up

Each DSU unit is provided with a captive eight-foot power cord, terminat-
ed by a three-prong plug which connects to a grounded 115 VAC power
receptacle.

Power to the DSU must be provided from a grounded 115 VAC,
60 Hz receptacle.
