Select the desired alarm types: Alarm Out, Show Message, Record Channel, PTZ Activation,
Tour, Snapshot, Buzzer, Alarm Upload, or Send Email.

Note:
•
There is no Detection Region or Anti-dither setup for Camera Masking.
•
Camera Masking is only enabled during the time period set. It is disabled for Motion
Detection and Video Loss.

Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ)
This section describes how to set up and control your pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) camera(s).
Note:
All the operations here are based on Pelco D protocol. For other protocols, there might be
differences.
3.8.8.1
Cable Connection
Follow the procedures below to go on cable connection:
1.
Connect the dome RS485 port to NVR 485 port.
2.
Connect dome video output cable to NVR video input port.
3.
Connect power adapter to the dome.
The camera video should be in the current screen.

PTZ Setup
Before setup, verify the following connections:
•
Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) and decoder connections are correct
•
Decoder address setup is correct
•
Decoder A (B) line connects with the NVR A (B) line
To initialize the PTZ function:
1.
Boot up the NVR.
2.
Enter your
User
Name
and
Password
.
3.
In the Main Menu, click
Setting
and then
Pan/Tilt Control
. The PTZ dialog opens.
