Verify that the probe has a valid calibration tag.
Before using precision measurement equipment, remove oil and
fingerprint residues with isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the
equipment dry with white clean-room paper. After cleaning, handle
the equipment with gloves.
Return precision measurement equipment to their protective
containers immediately after use.

Securing the Cutting Chuck to the Theta Table
Carefully unpack the cutting chuck.
To secure the cutting chuck to the table:
1.
Make sure that the theta table is clean.
2.
Place the cutting chuck on the theta table, ensuring that the tongue
on the underside of the cutting chuck fits into the groove on the top of
the theta table.
3.
Activate the vacuum that secures the cutting chuck to the theta table:
a.
In the application, from the Main Menu, press
Maintenance >
Functions and I/O > Cutting Table
; the Functions and I/O
window opens in the Cutting Table view.
b.
Press
Unlock
to enable modification.
c.
Select the Chuck Holder
Vacuum
check box and then select the
Chuck Holder
Accept
button; the vacuum that secures the
cutting chuck to the theta table is activated.
