Releasing All Moveable Parts and Unsealing the System

1.

Open the lower-front and lower-rear panel and examine the Tilt
indicators adhered to the casting. See "Initial Inspection" on page 11.

Caution:

If either of the indicators indicates that the machine had been tilted,

do not proceed. Immediately contact your ADT representative.

Caution:

Continue only when the Tilt indicators have not been disturbed.

2.

Remove the tape from the spindle door and open the door to access the
theta table:
a.

Remove the instruction page taped to the theta table.

Caution:

Read over the instructions. Do not attempt to manually move any

axes until you have performed all of the instructions.

b.

Unpack the chuck from the protective case and mount onto the
theta.
