Enter the percentage darkness (% of

black added) you want for the drop
shadow. 100% creates a multicolored
black, unless the original shape is gray
(which creates a shadow of 100% black);
0% does not change the color of the
drop shadow from that of the selected
object.

To make the shadow part of the

object rather than a separate object
in the background, select the Group
Shadows option.

For example, if you have two objects
currently selected, one overlapping the
other, grouping the shadows makes the
shadow of the top object appear on top
of the bottom object. If you do not
group the shadows, the shadows of
both selected objects appear behind the
bottom object.
