When you initially launch the program, click on FrameMaker in the Choose Interface

dialog box. After initial use, go to the main menu and choose File > Preferences > General
and then select FrameMaker from the Product Interface pop-up menu.

Choose View > Rulers, View > Borders, and View > Text Symbols. (You can also

choose these commands from the context menu when the pointer is in the page margin.)

In the status bar, click the Zoom In button or choose a setting from the Zoom pop-up

menu.

Paragraph formats apply to entire paragraphs; character formats apply to selected text,

such as words and phrases.

Click the Paragraph Catalog button in the upper right corner of the document

window; click the Character Catalog button in the upper right corner of the document
window.

Paragraph Catalog.

FrameMaker 7.0 creates an untitled copy of the template, leaving the template
