Customizing Tables

Setting table ruling

Now you’re ready to set up the table ruling.

Choose View > Borders to hide the borders. Without the borders showing, you’ll be

able to see the effect of your changes more clearly.

Make sure the insertion point is in the table.

In the Table Designer, choose Ruling from the Properties pop-up menu.

Change the Column Ruling options and Body Row Ruling options to None.

Click Update All. The ruling between the body cells is removed.

In the Heading and Footing Ruling area, change Separators to TableTop and Rows to None.
