XML configuration files reference

Last updated 11/28/2012

RetrySleep

Number of milliseconds the server waits before retrying to open a log file. Relevant when opening a log file fails. The 
default value is 100 ms.

Root

Container element.

The

 element is a container for all the other elements in the Server.xml file.

RTMP (AdminServer)

Container element.

This container holds elements that configure which versions of RTMP can be used to connect to the Administration 
Server. RTMP is the protocol used for communication between Flash Player and Flash Media Server.

Container element. 

This container holds the elements that configure RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol) for communication between 
Flash Remoting and Flash Media Server.
