PnP/PCI Configurations
This section describes configuring the PCI (Personal Computer
Interconnect) bus system. PCI is a system which allows I/O
devices to operate at speeds nearing the speed the CPU itself
uses when communicating with its own components.
Init Display First
Selects whether to first activate the PCI slot or on-chip VGA.
Reset Configuration Data
Resets the Extended System Configuration Data (ESCD). The
default is set to Disabled. Enable if system does not properly
function or communicate with add-ons/peripherals or in the event
of a system crash where the operating system cannot boot.
Options: Enabled/Disabled.
Resources Controlled By
Automatically configures all boot, and Plug and Play compatible
devices. If set to Auto, all interrupt requests (IRQ) and DMA
