HXU-357

Installing an HXU-357 Multiplexer Card

These instructions assume you are replacing a standby multiplexer in a
Wideband 3190 that is completely assembled and operational.

HXU-357 multiplexer cards are installed from the front of the
Wideband 3190 chassis.

Unscrew the two hold-down lugs on each side of the chassis front cover.
The cover folds down.

Connect your ESD wrist strap to the ESD strap input above the HMU
slot.

If this is a first-time installation of an HXU-357 multiplexer (not
a replacement installation), consult the Wideband 3190
Installation Guide for step-by-step instructions for
installation and provisioning. A first-time installation of an
HXU-357 needs to be undertaken in the context of a complete
Wideband 3190 installation.
