USING THE DEVICE WITH AUTHENTICATION CHECKER
3.1.
HOW TO GET STARTED

Open Authentication Checker app.
2.
By default, the app is connecting automatically to the document reader. However, in the case of
multiple devices being turned on and connected to the computer, you can check the DEVICES list
in the OPTIONS menu and select the appropriate one.

If the device is connected properly, the SCAN button turns green. If the connection is unsuccessful,
the SCAN button remains grey.
In this manual the most important parts of the Authentication Checker app will be mentioned.
For more information on Authentication Checker, please check the Authentication Checker
User’s Manual.
If you have not installed Authentication Checker yet, please read the appropriate sections of
the Passport Reader Install Guide.
