b)
If no speed measuring sensor is connected, it is not possible to measure the advance. Error messages
(such as
”Faulty sensor“
).will inform you about this fact.
c)
If ”---“ is displayed instead of values, then invalid values are measured, for instance because of
transition states or sensors incorrectly connected to the engine.
5.2
VOLTAGE AND CURRENT MEASURING
This function allows you to simultaneously digitally measure voltage and current (see Fig. 123).
If the speed sensor is connected and correctly set in the
„Param“
section, the engine speed is being displayed
in the top right-hand corner.
Press the
function button to display maximal and minimal voltage and current values reached since
the start of the measuring or since the
button pressing along with the momentarily measured voltage
and current. Press the
button once more to return to the previous display layout.
The
button is used to compensate the direct-current core magnetization *).
For current probes 5-50A / 500A is possible to do a resseting directly on the probe, ewen during measuring (see
Fig. 93).
NOTE *) DIRECT-CURRENT CORE MAGNETIZATION COMPENSATION
While measuring with current sensors, a measurement error can occur because of the direct-current core
magnetization. Therefore in the case of the digital current measuring, this error can be compensated by pressing
the
button with the current sensor disconnected from the measured conductor.
The
toggle serves to:
a)
Measure the mean values of voltage and current (suitable for measuring DC voltage and current - the
symbol
)
b)
Measure the rms. value (suitable for measuring AC voltage and current - the symbol
)
Note:
