•

Start :

Selecting the “Start” button

will advance to the patient setup

screen in order to perform the TUG

practice trial and test.

•

Instructions:

Selecting the

“Instructions” button will display the

embedded test instructions.

Navigating the OmniVR® III Software – Therapy Tests

Timed Up and Go (TUG) Test

Select assistive device

The TUG Test does not allow for any

patient support.
At the start of the test, indicate if the

patient is using an assistive device for

walking, and if so, what type.

Treatment area and patient positioning

•

Place a cone 10 feet from the chair

so the path is perpendicular to the

OmniVR®. The path should have

enough space away from the system

for proper camera detection as the

patient performs a loop around the

cone and back to the chair. The cone

serves as a visual aid for patients to

plan their trajectory.

•

For safety, the chair should be

secured to prevent movement.

•

Position the patient within the green

box, and then select the “Continue”

button on the bottom right corner of

the screen.
