1. Introduction
1.1 Description
The Serinus 60 Nitrogen Dioxide Analyser (NO2) utilizes cavity attenuated phase shift spectroscopy
detection to perform continuous analysis of nitrogen dioxide.
The Serinus 60 can measure to a sensitivity of 20 ppt with a range of 0-1 ppm. The measurement of
this gas is performed with the following main sub-components:
Particulate filters
Sample dryer
Measurement cell (temperature controlled)
Light source (Blue LED) and Photo Detector
Interface PCA
A microprocessor programmed with Serinus firmware monitors the detector response and many
other parameters. The concentrations are automatically corrected for gas temperature and pressure
changes and when using gravimetric units (e.g. μg/m³) is referenced to 0°C, 20°C or 25°C at 1
atmosphere. This allows the Serinus 60 to provide readings in the relevant units for your
requirements.
