Backflow stops and Cleaning pipes Triplex
Regular inspections and servicing

Inspecting and cleaning:
Î
Check the sealing surfaces and seals for
visible damage. Replace damaged parts.
Î
Remove deposits on the housing. Wash the
housing, backflow flap and emergency flap
with clean water.
Î
Check the mechanics and condition of
moving parts. Replace damaged parts.
Î
Grease parts: Moving parts, upper casing
inside of the backflow unit, sealing surface
of the housing cover.
Assemble the backflow unit:
Î
Insert the insertion part and backflow
flap(s) into the housing (1).
Î
Insert the emergency flap into the insertion
part (2).

Î
Fold up all quick-locking-lever of the
housing cover in a vertical position, hang
up the housing cover on the housing (1)
and press it against the housing.
Î
Press down the quick-locking-levers of the
housing cover (2, 3). Housing covers with
three quick-locking-levers first the outer.
Only backflow stops type 1 and type 2:
Î
Check the emergency flap,
Section 4.1
"Activating the emergency flap".
NOTICE
Emergency flap must be open so that
water can flow through.
Î
Press down the red lever until it stops.
