10.2 Putting the automatic antiflood pro-
tection system out of service
CAUTION During decommissioning, the operating seal and the emergency seal
must be open in order to drain off accumulating wastewater ( chapter 6.2).
Sequence of decommissioning:
1. Pull Euro plug of control out of power socket; make sure it cannot be re-inserted.
2. Switch off control manually ( chapter 4.5.5).
3. Cover control and protect against humidity.
10.3 Stopping the automatic antiflood
protection system
In order to keep access to pipeline for maintenance purposes, the automatic antiflood
protection system can be retrofitted as cleaning pipe.
Prerequisite:

- Procurement of housing cover for cleaning pipe (without locking)

CAUTION Information on fastening torque during assembly of cleaning pipe cover
( chapter 8.4).
Sequence of stopping – retrofit to cleaning pipe:
1. Pull Euro plug of control out of power socket; make sure it cannot be re-inserted.
2. Switch off control manually ( chapter 4.5.5)
3. Dismantle pressure hose and motor supply cable from control
4. Dismantle motor from cover of backflow stop
5. Apply protective cover for support of the driveshaft and close operating seal by
turning clockwise, alternatively a hexagon socket wrench (12 mm) can be used

chapter 4.5.6)
6. Close emergency seal ( chapter 4.5.3)
7. Loosen cap nuts at cover of backflow stop and remove housing cover
8. Remove operating seal as well as emergency seal from housing
9. Clean housing thoroughly
10. Apply cover for cleaning pipe and close with the help of cap nuts and discs.
