I. GENERAL INFORMATION
Familio P and PV are a series of digital panels with an option of dialling the apartment number from
the numeric keypad and/or direct dialling buttons and with access control function (opening the
entrance door with a code and/or proximity key fob). Depending on the version, the panels can
feature up to two direct dialling buttons with a backlit space for name and/or an illuminated numeric
keypad as well as with an RFID reader (ACC) in the Unique 125Hz standard embedded in the bottom
description field. The panel are also capable to interface with different external devices.
The devices work in a two-wire installation for passive audio systems (such as INS-UP720BX), in
four-wire installations for active audio systems (such as UP800) and in installations based on UTP
cable for Video version (such asINS-MP7). It is recommended to use UTP cat. 5e/6. The Familio
series will work with all P system panels, namely INSPIRO, CDNP and with all P system receivers.
The panels can work in mixed audio and video systems (provided that the whole system is supplied
with DC).
Panel front is made of stainless steel, which provides effective protection against devastation and
weather conditions. The built-in PV series colour camera of is adjustable in horizontal and vertical
plane, and with IR illumination the images can be viewed even in darkness.
Familio panels are easy to operate, functional, their installation is simple and feature configuration
options and a lot of parameters can be changed in the settings. Certain settings can be changed
directly from the service menu available for panels with numeric keypad, while all settings are
available via
FAM_P
computer program
(PC/Windows). Adding (deleting / archiving / transferring
between panels) proximity fobs can be done using the
ACC_v3
software (PC/Windows). In order to
connect the panel to a PC, a special
CDN-USB
cable should be purchased separately (cable
suitable for all ACO products). The software mentioned is available for free and can be downloaded

Familio series digital door entry units be expanded into complex multi-entry systems that combine
many panels, for instance: closed housing estates, gate house, main gate, building entrances etc.
In practice this makes it possible to call an apartment both at the entrance to the site as well as the
entrance to a building or staircase. Their other advantage is the possibility to individually program
the ringing parameters for each apartment, by choosing one of the four available signals and signal
repetition in the ringing cycle. With two pre-programmed additional numbers it is possible to call one
uniphone using three different numbers (each with different ringing settings), such as in a tenement
house where one uniphone is used by several apartments on the same floor. The panels can also
control an additional door using tenant’s access codes (MINI I/O module or CDN-I/O). For detailed
