Trouble-shooting
The recording is too dark / too light
Try to manually configure the white balance and the light value.
ACE View won’t start
Charge the battery and try to switch the device on again. If that doesn’t solve the
problem, press the reset button with a pointed object.
ACE View switches itself off
The battery is empty / storage is full. Remove some recordings from your micro SD
card and load it onto ACE View. If the device switches off immediately after the
start it may be that the micro SD card has not been correctly recognised. Ensure
that the card has been installed correctly, that 128GB has not been exceeded and
that the file system corresponds to the FAT32 standard (otherwise you will need to
manually format the micro SD card).
ACE View is not recognised by the PC
Ensure that the device is switched off when connecting to the PC. If this does not
solve the problem restart your PC and/or use a different micro USB cable.
ACE View does not respond
Press the reset button with a pointed object.
Important information and technical data
- Remove the protective film from the camera lens before using ACE View.
- Never charge the device for longer than 12 hours at a stretch.
- It is recommended that the charging process is ended approximately 45
minutes after the red LED turns off. A normal charging process lasts approx. 1.5
- 2 hours.
- Do not put ACE View on when driving in the night as it may impair your vision.
- Protect the camera lens from too much sunlight or very strong artificial light.
- Observe the laws and regulations of your country when using ACE View. Do not
use ACE View for illegal purposes.
- The glasses are not suitable for industrial eye protection.
- Do not use disassemble ACE View. If the device is opened this will void your
warranty.
- You will enjoy a longer service life from your device if you store ACE View at
room temperature and do not expose it to very high or very cold temperatures
for long periods of time.
- Save your important videos or images to your hard drive regularly in order to
avoid loss of data.
- Do not remove the batteries. Dispose of the device in special waste where
necessary.
- ACE View is water-resistant, but not water-proof. Do not expose the device to
very humid or very dusty environments for long periods of time.
- It is best to use a standard microfibre cloth for cleaning.
- Keep the device away from magnets and high voltage ranges.
- A 3.7V high capacity lithium polymer battery is built in. This can be charged
using a 5V DC/480mAh adapter.
- The dimensions are 170 x 150 x 48 mm (folded out) or 150 x 76 x 48 mm
(folded up) and it weighs 52g.
