4.3 Control with control switch
NOTE:
Only control switches that meet the requirements of the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC
may be connected to Andromeda Socket.
4.3.1 On/Off (bistable function)
Example:
To turn on and off a lamp every other time the control switch is pressed.
1. Connect a control switch with 3.5 mm plug to the jack
(5).
2. Press the
On/Off
button (4) and, at the same time, press
the control switch until the indication light on the relay
unit flashes and the relay have clicked 3 times.
3. Check the function by pressing the control switch.
4.3.2 Keep turned on (monostable function)
Example:
To practice cause and effect with a connected electric mixer. The mixer runs as
long as the control switch is pressed.
1. Connect a control switch with 3.5 mm plug to the jack
(5).
2. Press the
On/Off
button (4) and, at the same time, press
the control switch until the indication light on the relay
unit flashes and the relay have clicked 3+3 times.
3. Check the function by pressing the control switch.
